A view from the outside

The balance of good,
and evil collide
By these rules,
all life must abide

What really is evil,
what exactly is good
Is it beyond comprehension,
can it be understood

Maybe it's as simple,
as what's right and what's wrong
Evil is always bad,
good is always strong

How can good always be right,
and evil always be the wrong path
They're 2 sides of the same coin
who's to say good doesn't lad to wrath

Perhaps evil can lead to enlightenment,
or a vast understanding of whats true
Perhaps right and wrong are strictly,
based on a single point of view

    Valid points!

Evil and good are not necessarily opposite sides of the coin. Issues of 'right and wrong' are gray not black and white. I like your view, it is similar to mine. With greater depth I would have had to serious ly consider it as trophy material. I still, get to enjoy a 'good' read from my 'point of view'.

This is really a mixture of contradiction--though written well. Evil is evil because that is, by definition, its essence. Good is what is right for the same reason.

Now, if you want to say that evil can also be true, that is something to speak of. But your presentation simply says that perception dictates the essence of the two. So then we can say that it may not be evil to kill or torture, depending on your perception of evil? We see that capital punishment and war may present an argument for this but even then we must concede that there are areas of greed and hate which is most certainly defined as wrong by the laws that dwell within us as human beings. And it may not be good and true to feed the hungry or help the poor? You could indeed say these things if you cannot grasp the idea of moral law--which exists in the human mind as well as spirit--and then it would be true. However, this is not the case with the vast Truth that lives aside from man and yet encases his soul. The moral truth lives, our knowing of goodness lives aside from every attempt to deny it. One may love to do evil, yet that does not make it anything other than evil--even if you call it good.
