Blurred visions of unmistakable beauty,
a heavenly notion of perfection
Through the desperate walls,
of emotion came a moment of clarity
Things once so fuzzy to my eye,
now shown like a bright summer day
The beauty once for told to me,
now disgusting pieces of refuse
Preferring my alternate reality,
I cast aside the bottle
Drowning the medication,
that shown me the truth
If the blurred vision was insanity,
that would be my home
No longer did I crave,
what the world call sane
Author notes
I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity. ~ Edgar Allan Poe

Poe
Mr. Poe was a capricorn. A deep, dark and murky cappi. His work is genius and I can understand his dark longing, and heart.
