In every second of every minute, and in every hour of every day,
I so long to feel your sweet embrace and see that smile upon your face,
You have come into my life and nursed my heart back to health,
You have turned my sorrows into a thing of the past,
With your ever true love that as awakened and last,
This feeling some disbelieve has a candle burning bright for you and me,
To guide our celebrating souls to a happily ever after eternity,
And wake each and every morning to find myself wrapped in your arms,
Gazing into your ever so beautifully perfect eyes,
I could stare off into them and get lost for hours, even days,
To see that perfect blue-green color, a sea of ever waking dreams,
My heart has been captured; it’s in your hands for now and always,
There is no other love I would rather share than yours,
You are the greatest blessing God has given me

The poem is about love and pleasures of love, only love can make the life happy but we run after the material pursuits. There is no safer harbour than to be in the arms of one another.

Aw, this is so beautiful. Lots of emotion expressed in this piece. I like the part of the candle the best. It seemed metaphorical, like the light from the candle being like a symbol of love everlasting. Thanks for sharing and keep that pen flowing.
