Your hair the night sky
where moon and stars
run down in glossy waves –
shadows and falling fireflies of
moon drops and diamonds.
Following you down that dark
splashes across linen snow
dripping off the pillows and
flowing over the edge
of the bed like midnight
melted onto marshmallows.
Polished radiant jet
fanned over canvas
your masterpiece.

Perfect beauty. Liquid emotion. .more than that.

Such rich imagery in this poem….a wonderful shine to it! I liked the opening three lines – to me the strongest part of this poem. You did well to keep to a central image and to apply that image from start to finish – something not everybody is able to do. A lovely take on the contest theme, Garrison.
Thank you for this entry.

Ah! Lovely Alliterative Title ...
It is only you who can make snow feels melting hot.
What a wondrous sketch of a dark haired beauty ...
Do you know, the most beautiful woman I ever saw in my entire life had black hair and a porcelain white skin and blue eyes, that turned black when intense? Your poem made me think of her ...
Good luck in the contest, Poet.
