The wind blows the grass like waves on the water as the thunder rolls in. Lightning strikes the sky and she stands there watching the storm as she wonders where he is. I put my hands around her as she starts to fall to the ground. I tell her it will be ok and close my eyes as the sirens sound for everyone to go to their basements. Tears roll down her face as I look around and then lead to to the basement. She crys for him hoping he was going to be ok. When the darkness leaves and we walk outside again she looks around and moments later he pulls up in the driveway and she runs to him with open arms. I sigh as I wish she could look at me like that again, and I know that we are only ment to be friends. Though I miss her in my arms....

This is great, such detail I could really picture it. I really love these lines:
