Ice Cream is a favorite topic let me tell you why
I used to work with Ice Cream even made it a pie
Dipping Ice Cream for a cone, or a Sundae supreme
Always dipping Ice Cream and top it with whipped cream
I used to bake a cake roll and spread it with Ice Cream
Then drizzle melted chocolate on it just to hear the screams
The children couldn't wait for me to finish up the cake
They had the plates and forks ready for a piece to take
Ice Cream is so special to those that love it so
I'm glad that I can get Ice Cream, everywhere I go
Author notes
Even before I was married, I used to make Ice Cream Cake Rolls. My nieces and nephew used to gather around the kitchen table with a dessert plate and fork handy. I would take my time slicing the cake, just to tease them. I was bad. Everybody seemed to like them and they were easy to make.
