I tried so many times
to write a song for you
I sang the melody in my mind
with music played softly by a harp
Whispered words in love
for only you to hear
No one speaks the same
language as us
There's no one around
as the sunset begins to settle down
and you sweep me off my feet
I searched your eyes
and found more love buried deep within
I'll remember this moment
for as long as I draw breath

and if one day should ever come
when no longer we are two
