It starts to fall on a cold night
Lightly at first then harder as time passes
By sunrise there’s been a bad blizzard
Everyone digs tunnels to their yards
The kids are begging to go out and play
Mommy says "No, not until daddy has got a path cleaned off"
Then like magic all the snow disappears
What happened to the snow, no one will ever know
