Welcome

Welcome while you may
each moment of loneliness
that loiters and lingers
at the edge of your dreams
like acid pools that pause before
burning their brazen attitudes
into your soul.

Gasp if you must such tempers
that dare to hiss and spit
and adopt their brief embrace
as thy companion, confirming
in your belief their presence
as one would note that all
light fades to dark and
then back to light.

In your solitude remember
that you are more than alone
in your seclusion, you are separate
alone, isolated and remote and yet
in that briefness a chance
an opportunity to begin again
to turn away from yourself
and embark from wherever you chose.

Take that step of purpose
with intent and conscious
knowing and welcome the unknown.
Do not hurry or rush with caution
but ride measured thoughts
and freedom will be yours,
one way or another.

      Thank you Patty

Thank you so much but on reading it again I can see a few changes I would make such as using alone twice in the same stanza. Don't know why I didn't see that.

      Gratitude to you and yours.

      Basically it says

Let go of what holds you back and if you dare you may taste the forbidden fruit without being burned in hell?, but who knows for cure. If you don't buy the ticket you don't win the prize and that's for sure.
      See you

      Many thanks

I really want to thank you for reading this and most of all for giving me your opinion, I'm flattered. I am also very grateful that writers such as you who love to express themselves are kind enough to lend their support to such as I.
Many many thanks. I certainly want to find your work and take some time to read it.

    Blaaaaaaaaaaaa

I wish I had taken a bit more time to really read this through but I didn't and now I see such glaring errors, I wish I could erase it.
