The warmth of your smile

Whenever  I知 sad, or feeling bad,
or I知 under the weather a while.
I  recall with a sigh, that I値l always get by.
With the tender loving warmth of your smile

When I try in vain from sad thoughts to refrain,
when the world seems to be so hostile.
I致e so much to gain, 祖os I know I値l remain,
in the tender loving warmth of your smile.

When like the rest, I can get so depressed,
when life deals you a hand so vile.
What more can I ask, than that I may bask,
in the tender loving warmth of your smile.

When I get the blues, from receiving bad news,
From the doctor that really can rile.
I know in the end I can always depend,
on the tender loving warmth of your smile.

Many thanks for your kind comments on "The Warmth of your Smile
I am sorry to learn of your most unfortunate problem with your knees my wife has exactly the same problem in her left knee so I can sympathise with you the pain can be severe at times which in two knees offers you no respite from the pain at all.My wife and I wish to extend our deepest sympathy to you and hope you can be operated on soon.May I say that the operation(which my brother in law had a year ago)once done is fine he can dash about quite normaly free from pain
Best Wishes and Kindest Regards George and Shirley

Nice, but I specifically asked for no rhyme. Sorry, but I must remove you.

Sweet and softly sentimental, this flows along.
It does remind me of some simpler love songs.
I would ask for the quote to be added to your notes,
the one you are applying this write to. Thank-you!

    Aww!

I really like this piece. I can relate in a similar way..Plus the rhyme is really good and not forced! Yay!

When I get the blues, from receiving bad news,
From the doctor that really can rile.
I know in the end I can always depend,
on the tender loving warmth of your smile.

Love that stanza the most! It just personify's the whole piece itself and concludes the poem perfectly! Great job and good luck!

Nice job with the rhyme and even with the repetition I thought it worked here. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't call me fickle! thank you for entering.
