I like this a lot! It's a beautiful poem about love. It reminds me of something my fiancee would say to me. My favorite lines are:

This rang of genuine sincerity- which made it all the more heart-wrenching. The first line was so honest and simple- that the transition from there to the first verse "Each night, my heart puts up a fight" just tugged at my heartstrings.
