    How evocative! Seems like you feel a mixture of emotions, but then don't we all. I like the idea of this, and also the way you pair up your adjectives, they complement each other well. Striking write, good structure. Thanks for sharing.

    I think you should put the two words together onto one line. Just my personal opinion but it seems too broken up this way.
