Butterflies

Pretty and symmetrical winged insects,

not many invertebrates and of the like boast that feature .

However at the right time with the right person,

hormone encrusted cocoons are broken open to set free what was once a caterpillar.

Circumstances considered they bring out how brave, some may say confident, you are,

feelings taking over; only thing to do is stand still nervously and if you intend to speak expect to stutter.

Can you feel that thing in your stomach making you blush?

Can you feel every single one of their wings flutter?

    this is... interesting. i think i like it! you have an unusual writing style, very literal-sounding and as for the opening lines... very odd. but also kinda cute.
    i think a little grammar added here and there, and maybe some line breaks added, could improve this, but its all very quirky and a good take on the prompt.
