I Couldn't Love You More

Because there aren't enough

hours in a day

or breaths in my lungs

to say, how much

I love you

When we are apart, the distance

is too great and I can

hardly wait

to be whole again

in your arms

Even in the night, as I rest alone,

I find myself reaching

for your warmth, only to

sigh as I restlessly return

to sleep, so you see...

I couldn't possibly love you more.

At first glance I thought the title said I Couldn't Love You Enough, but it is obviously More. Sorry, my sleep-deprived mind is really functioning low, and want to say this is a stunningly beautiful piece.
