I am done searching for my one and only love.
I know what I was looking for and it was you.
I don't mind working out this complicated situation,
I just know what we have isn't worth losing.
Because when you happen to be a girl like me,
it takes a lot to just give everything I got.
I don't take things for granted and I don't trust.
But inside my heart I know we could be something.
Something so special that no one will ever have.
Something even my parent's wouldn't understand.
I'd do anything for you even if it kills me,
because I know in my heart you are the real deal.
Not only were you my best friend but now my boy,
I can't let go of something that is meant to be mine.
I know we are young and people say it's just lust,
but I have come to figure it is more then just that.
Even when we fight we know it will be alright,
because neither one of us wants this to end.
Whatever "this" is it is worth putting up a fight,
because deep down we know that love conquers all.
