Its simple and yellow,
Bright like a smile,
Sunny and brilliant,
And already worn.
Its a little bit sweaty,
A little bit dirty,
A little bit worn out,
But brilliant and bright.
I don't feel like this,
Wearing grey white or black,
So I take all the shades,
And chuck them in back.
There's nothing wrong at all,
With wearing one shirt twice,
Like a smile or a wink,
They're more accepted then you think.

Brilliant. You did a great job on choosing the color yellow. Considering that it is the color that no one can forget. The last part of the poem really made me lean back with a smile..not very often that poetry does that.
I wish you the BEST of luck in the 'laundry day' contest!

Very nice and I wore a yellow muscle shirt today. My best wishes always.

Quite opposite I should say, but it was a welcomed poem. I enjoy seeing different perspections on something, as I would like for people to open their minds.
Thank you for entering.
Good luck!
