Telling you I'm okay.
I'm sorry that I'm not
And that I have to go away.
I'm sorry I'm not perfect
Like my sister was to you.
I'm sorry you didn't believe me
When I told you I was blue.
I'm sorry you always loved her more
And that I made you angry.
I'm sorry I couldn't make you laugh
Only she could give you glee.
I'm sorry I'm not everything
You wanted me to be.
I'm sorry I wasn't worth it
And that I became a fee.
I'm sorry for all I did wrong
I never did anything right.
I'm sorry I couldn't make you happy
Though I tried with all my might.
But most of all I'm sorry
That you never believed me
Every single time I told you
I'm sorry.
Author notes
I wrote this to my parents last year and I rewrote it to make it rhyme (as a challenge for myself, since I can't rhyme for my life). So this was what I was thinking a year ago. But it's mostly fiction now. If you're wondering why I posted this when I don't really want people to see it, it's because some things aren't better left unsaid, and some secrets are too big to keep. And I know this was really repetitive and could be highly annoying, but...oh well.

quite alright
the rhyme is forgiven this time. lol
i love that i have no idea what any of this means. i can relate to the i'm sorries and unforgiveness, but the mystery appeals to me.
no need to explain, however. i appreciate this because you didn't have to paint me a picture of the situation to tell me how you felt about it. cheers for that.
nicely done for a rhyme. best wishes dear.
