His angel
couldn’t protect him;
he harbored storms,
silently,
inside.

Thank You!!
Thank You for Your entry: Alone
This piece tugged hard at Spirit and while I was reading which I do several times~ Images come to me in many forms~ After I read, Loved the words: he harbored storms- and the last two lines grabbed- From the beginning to the ending- I kept seeing a story unfold- where there are negatives that continue to roll in like the tide- and attacking the person- all his or her self worth- Unfortunately Angel could not protect from the tsunami which eventually led to wayward direction- I'm being show how there are people of all ages who have so much going in inside- others may or may not know about- very self destructing
whether another metaphor or symbolism~
Hopefully that makes some sense...
Excellent take on the prompt in ten words ~
Powerful images & message You have brought forth
Thank You for sharing Your Talent also Spirit!
Best wishes to You in the contest Sweet Soul
**Judging will be done shortly...
Many blessings too
and much love & light~ Desire~*~
