I hate to Fly

Missing image

Where are you going to my friend
I can see you need a ride
I've got to be in New York City
Going to meet my future bride

I can take you if you need to
And we can leave right away
But you really have to trust me
Cause on my back you have to stay

Hold on when we cross that water
If you fall you will get wet
Something I have to ask you
Why didn’t you take a jet

These days I really hate to flying
It’s always hard to get a seat
What I hate most about flying
Is that bird holds you with his feet

Okay, now then. You have a good abcb rhyme scheme in this piece, and your meter remains reasonably steady throughout.

I find the last stanza a little disconcerting, though... did you check it carefully before you posted it? I think there are a definitely a word or two missing! Please take a quick look and see what you think...

Thank you for entering, and best of luck in the contest.
