clean fresh babe stepping out for the first time.
porcelain skin, so delicate, so smooth.
smothered in rose petals, silk to the touch.
pale skin hidden away from the work of the sun.
but i know your secrets
the ones you left in your world
the world you hide from everyone
cover your face with innocence
hide the damage
hide it from this world
your past is your past
you want to keep it there
i will keep my lips sealed
i will allow you to keep your coat of purity
keeping your secrets within
your untold truths
the pain that no one will know.
