I can hear your voice, but you are too far away
I’m dizzy, my mind is hazy
My head spinning, spiraling out of control
Landing every time, on thoughts of you
I reach out, but you’ve turned away
The aching in my heart verbalized, you ignore my cries
Pushing further, as you walk in the wrong direction
Refusing to come back to my heart
I’m not in love with you, the words echo
Bouncing off the core of me, forcing me to my knees
I don’t want to be obligated, another knife to my soul
I am nothing without you by my side, I counter
I am nothing

Yeah.. those are words actually said to me. The most painful words I've ever heard. But life gives us pain so we could know happiness.

You have described what we all go through at sometime in our life that feeling of nothingness .We all may have different reasons for it or where we pin the blame but the feelings are the same i think . Sad write but a good one
