Carpet of dreams with threads of screams,
Sheets of deaths with strands of last breaths,
Rugs of fears with patterns of tears,
And an ancient tome-- the Spirit's Home.
Gravestones of words and flesh-eating birds,
Ponds of screeches and blood-sucking leeches,
Shadows of ghosts and killing boasts,
A cracked garden gnome-- the Spirit's Home.
Portraits of dead men in blood-inked pen,
Buds of dead nectar and garden specters,
Mirrors of shades and sad, wraith maids,
Burned, unturned loam-- the Spirit's Home.
Walls of webbed cracks and demon shacks,
Skies of cloud husks and a blood-red dusk,
Musty mold, this tale tells of old,
Of where phantoms roam-- the Spirit's Home.

this could be done a performance poem depending on the audience. It is very dark and scarey so you have to be careful. Deep imagery and very vivid. Thank you for entering and congrats on the hm
