the Worm

Out in her garden the other day

Galfalfa came upon a sight so strange,

a worm so long and thin she backed away

lest it got into her ear and her mind deranged.

It had fashioned itself into a noose at the top

and wore a super heros S upon its tail,

and as she watched its loop dropped

and slowly it linched an innocent snail.

The horror of it all was too much for her

she nearly fell into a girlish swoon.

Her heart beat quickened and her vision blurred

when the worm started singing old show tunes.

It noticed that she was staring at it in disbelief

and stopped singing and began to blush.

She asked for more and to her great relief

it started again with a  theatric rush.

Gal never did find out what kind of worm she saw

but as she looks back now she doesnt care

because it sang so sweet- without flaw

and it didnt try to climb into her hair.

THE END.

pretty cool. I like the rhyme & it flows really nice telling a fun little story. All in all very light & cute from beginning to end in structure & form. Very creative.
