Well fancy meeting you here in my dreams!
I never thought you'd come this way again.
But you have not forgotten me it seems.
What has it been? Near three long years since then?
I'm glad you still remember where I live -
The road into my midnight fantasies.
Oh yes, I think I'm ready to forgive...
With you I might forget old miseries.
And you still have that myst'ry in your stare...
Just reassure me that the concubine
That stifled all the soul once present there
Is cast aside forever and... you're mine!
A fancy meeting you here in my dreams.
I never knew how much I missed your face!
And you missed mine as well, or so it seems.
Let's meet again tonight. Same time. Same place.
Please tell me what you think

Oh, I really do like this one indeed! People often have dreams like this but refuse to ever speak of them. They are potent and powerful dreams about lost, abandoned or betrayed love. This conjures images that are more common that folks will admit. (check line 9 for errors.) bravo...

very nice. it is something i can relate to myself and i love the second paragraph, the whole poem! good luck in contest.

-
constructive.
To be constructive when you know destruction is at hand is what life asks us all.
Destroy and you die.

Very Interesting.
Good take on the prompt. This is well thought out (or rehearsed
). I hope you win, girl!

"I'm glad you still remember where I live -

delightful, hopeful, fanciful, and nicely rhymed. a most enjoyable poem; i do hope the dream itself is half as good, for then so sweet it shall be indeed! peace be wiht you cheri
