Why must time slip through our fingers?
like the sands from the beach
where we were lovers, warm beneath our backs..
Who knew a month could slip by like water

My boyfriend and I have a long distance relationship so we figured for the month of July i would just pretty much live with him so we can get a lot of time in with each other and at the end, i would go back home.... we started with a 10 day camping trip we have planned for a year and now here we are, back at "home" and in 3 days i drive back 300 miles for home.... months cant slide by that quickly, it doesnt feel like a month, it feels like i blinked and the next thing you know your in the hot car for a 5 hour drive across the state....
