Used to be innocent
Used to be
untainted,
now I'm tainted.

Mistakes made
lead to consequences
which are paid
in blood,
sacrifices.
Take the dark road,
low road,
find its paved
in pain,
suffering.

Things thought
would never be done,
must be done.
Things thought
could never happen,
eagarly made happen.

Funny thing is
pain
blood
suffering
sacrifice
leads to enlightenment.
The dark road
paved in troubles
leads to knowledge
and growth.

Hardest thing of all:
knowing
if you'd change it all
or
not.
