Wond'ring how long until
You stop penetrating ev'ry thought;
I stop dreaming of us,
Scents stop sending me to heartache,
Memories no longer bring nausea.
These bittersweet tales
Of false romance
Start tailspining
Beyond my control.
Never before did I understand
The meaning of that word,
Yet those memories of pleasure
Leave a foul taste in my mouth.
