Free time at my friend's house was wild,
The parents were out and we were just childish,
We did stuff we should've had,
But who cares cuz we'd had an overall blast.
We started with stuff like playing ball,
We went out and hit as far it'ld go,
It flew so far and was lost at one time,
But no worries cause we'd eventually find.
Afterwards we'd been as all boys,
We'd went out and broke stuff,
And even blew up some toys.
We'd shot off fireworks and it was wild at that,
I'd shot rockets past his feet,
And he'd scared me half to death.
He'd blown an M-80 right next to my foot,
It scared me so much,
And I'd almost forgotten,
But he'd done it so quickly,
I'd kicked at it in air.
I had to get revenge and Oh did I get it,
I'd shot a firework strait by his leg,
He'd screamed like a girl and heck it was funny,
It was almost funny as suited man as a bunny.
We'd had lots of fun and hey you can too,
Get off your butt and get on your boots,
Go out and fire up rockets,
And enjoy as the rockets go chute.
Go out be wild go out be a child,
Go out and go chill,
Have fun,
Just go grill.
Summer is almost over but til that day comes,
Go out and enjoy life,
Don't sit round,
Becoming a bum.
Summer,
What can I say?,
It seems at sometimes long,
But believe me it'll speed up when time starts to run short.
Live free,
Live proud,
Go to 6flags,
Be loud,
I did with some of my friends,
Though everyone thought us crazy,
I didn't really care,
I was having fun,
Not home,
Becoming lazy.
