Knocks on the door,
Calling to me.
As I fall to the floor.
Together. Apart.
Nothing matters,
Unless it's from
the heart.
Like me. Like you.
Hurting inside.
Smiling outside.
And all the other stupid things we do.
I listen to your heartbeat.
My ear to your chest.
I can hear the blood
I bleed.
ba-bump. ba-bump. ba-bump.
You.
You break my defenses.
Sweep away
my defiance.
And I hate it.
But I love you.
And that's enough
for me.
