A night of good times
Friends, laughs and spirits
But to the sadness of many
The bar announces “last call”
Driving down a road
To continue our festivities
At a house, volunteered
From a passenger in the car
SMASH! Screams follow
Spinning out of control
Lost all my senses
I’m left in a state of shock
We’ve stopped moving
There’s glass, steel and blood
Some crying and some sobbing
And from someone just silence
I try and remember
I had a green light
Oh Fuck! What have I done?
Is this all my fault?
I snap back to reality
Thank the spirits
It was all a bad dream.
As I look ahead
A red light approaches
