While you know you hate me
I wish you didn't hate me
As I'm happy for loving you
Every night I wish it would change
Even though I know it won't
We know its never gonna happen
Even though its happenin' everywhere
It's happening every single day
But its never gonna happen to us
We both just want things to change
And we know it never will
When we think that something has changed
Its only us that change
You wish for change every day
But you know it never will
We know its never gonna happen
Even though its happenin' everywhere
It's happening every single day
But its never gonna happen to us
There is no more wonderin'
'Cause you see that I love you
And its obvious you hate me
But I know you like me just a little
Every night I wish it would change
Even though I know it won't
You wish for change every day
But you know it never will
We know its never gonna happen
Even though its happenin' everywhere
It's happening every single day
But its never gonna happen to us
It's never gonna happen to us
Never gonna happen
To us
Author notes
Words with an apostrophe are spelled that way for like emphasis in a way to be sung. Each stanza is a different verse. The verses in order are as follows:
Verse 1
Bridge(first half)
Chorus
Verse 2
Bridge(second half)
verse 3
Bridge(whole)
Ending Chorus
I wrote this a while ago, like 4 years ago, never took the time to put it up here though. ^^ I edited it a bit when I added it on here. I can't quite remember why I wrote it all I know is that this sort of "change" happens to many people.

In my mind, this came off to me as more of a country-rock song (not a fan of country lol). I know that's not how you meant it to come off, though, and the words are very meaningful. I like the message it sends.
Thanks for the Entry.

To be honest I don't quite know what my aim of genre was for this song...^^"" It kinda just came out the way it did.

I really can't remember, like I said in my AN I wrote it about 4 years ago. But I guess it was that I was bored and I liked someone but I wasn't sure how they felt about me so I guess this turned out. ^^""
