Tyranny of Love

In your absence somber plume of dust
always drifting past my window
collecting tears, delivering bouquets of sentiments
while silence is always thick with yearnings

On invincible fingers of fading light
I keep on searching you out
calling you even in dreams
forever searching your warmth
while songs of your heart dances my soul

There are times I fashion
your image from drifting clouds
licking teardrops of crimson tears
sealing my lips with ardent longings
pretending to play the sunshine on my face

If only you could dive and swim
in the waters of my longings
I will make love to every illusions
feel again the sway of the world
the tango of gentle breeze
the sweetness of time

And someday perhaps the suns glow will not fade to grey
and my world will not have premature twilight
when you are here by my side

It's imprisoning thrall is something of power, like the gravity of the planet bounding all the dreamers to the ground while we all wish to fly through the sky and up beyond the stars.

How beautiful! Love imagery and metphor...it has such a strong feel of yearning that it aches with desire...
    Wonderful from beginning till end...

so great is your yearning, that growing its like a tidal wave washing away those small tiny desires and kisses lying on shore.... your poem tells how greatly one misses his love
