His cold pale hands brushed my cheek & he said his final goodbye
So sudden but so unforgettable
He walked down the corridor & into the dark dull shadows of the night
I was left with only my thoughts
In total absolute, my heart was agonizing in pain
I could feel every heart beat, time seemed to be at a standstill
The cold of the night became unbearable as I sat curled up in darkness
Nothing else mattered anymore, I became isolated from the world
My eyes did not move, did not focus, did not blink
Only tears fell down my face
