The hand that slips away is hesitant,
my heartbeat runs along the veins,
I am your humble supplicant,
you're holding all the reigns.
Trust is hardest when love is forbidden,
averted, my eyes are virginal,
the passion between us cannot be hidden,
a revival of love original.
Together our bodies merge in a tempest,
we swirl in the sheets a nebula,
mutually seeking locations to nest,
to drink in our love's potent formula.

Line 4 is unwittingly very amusing indeed. And the rhyming scheme, being bizarre, is also quite funny. Jolly well done, indeed, I am tempted to say. But I shall resist.
