My shuddering breath
makes you hot,
as blood,
races through veins,
like wild horses travel
plains, we are
free to roam,
to feed, to drink our fill
of the delights before us
that calls and like
a sweet zephyr, we
are enticed with
natural draw,
that promises to satiate
our appetites
so very ravenous and
breathing deeply, we
anticipate the many pleasures
of a plentiful bounty.
