I need love,
but it can include a man...
A brother making ends meet
the best way he can.
My mortgage is paid
along with all of my bills.
I can take care of myself
and that's for real.
I'm an independant sista
and I make my own money.
I got a lot of lady in me
and I'm sweeter than honey.
My children have the best
of all that they want.
This sista got it going on
and I don't mean to flaunt.
I got everything in order
but my bed is still cold.
No warm nights for me
without a man to hold.
I need someone beside me
just to keep me feeling good.
And when it comes to the bedroom,
he'll treat me like he should.
I want someone who don't mind
if I lay my head in his lap.
Who looks good in a in a suit
or even a jersey and cap.
An intelligent brother
who loves the Lord.
A brother who will stick around
when times get hard.
And although, I don't need him
to pay any bills.
He loves me so much...
caring for me gives him thrill.
Around the kitchen he knows the difference
between a pot and a pan.
I want it all, I need love...
if it comes with a man.

Nice little poem you've written here that seems to say it all. These two lines seem to sum it up for me, "He loves me so much...
caring for me gives him thrill." That's the key.
