When we were little kids
on the local church bus
He asked to hold my hand
and I declined him.
When we turned teenagers
and pressure was settling in
I asked something I would have regretted
and he declined me.
When we were aging in high school
after I repeatedly broke his heart
He offered me one last chance
and I didn't decline him.
Not too long ago
near the end of our actual childhood
I've asked him to have faith in me...again
and he didn't decline me
Now that we are not so much older
and after I nearly destroyed him
He asked me that one special question
and I didn't decline him.
He gives and will give everything for me.
He does and will do anything for me.
He offers all in his power and always delivers.
He tortures himself through whatever I want to do and whereever I want to go solely to see me smile.
He sacrifices so much just for me and even for what I don't need.
Nothing is good enough for me.
He protects me like none other.
He gives me unconditional love.
He gives me true love everlasting.
He has given me so many chances that I did not deserve.
What makes me melt-
the way he looks at me, like I am the only one.
the smile he gives to none but me.
the lengths he will go to to make me happy.
the gentle loving way he caresses my skin.
the care he shows toward me.
the constant proof that I am his everything.
The sweetest thing he's ever done for me-
loved me endlessly and waited patiently while I ignored him, oblivious to who he really was and gave everything to ensure my happiness.

I hope this is somewhat what you are looking for. My significant other has done so much for me and my love- its hard to put it all into a poem and words. He has given his whole life to me. He waited to be mine since we were I'd say around 2 or 4. We've known each other practically since we were born. There's so much between us I'm not sure if I could write a poem about us and everything. Anyway- I'm tired I need to stop this babbling. lolz =^.^=
