I know I can't take back the things I’ve said
Even though at times I wish I could
I can’t take back the hurt they’ve caused
And sorry can only do so much
I can ask for forgiveness
Yet the words are already spoken
And they linger in the back of one’s mind
I can’t take back the things I’ve said
And sorry don’t cut it all the time
I wish I could take it all back
But since I can’t this is the best I can do
I’m sorry,
Please forgive me
And last but no where near least
I love you
More than the world can tell
