Wonders along the sunlight bends,
spreading small lights though auburn leaves.
The ruby reds and orange blends,
glowing gold from light it receives.
The winds with songs all through the sky,
does russell gold a patchwork field.
And though the breeze is rather shy,
with time the gusts shall be revealed.
Dear lilly pad's a nature sail,
floating gently over the pond.
Below the water's cool and frail,
a window to the world beyond.
A place where all fish wiggle free,
and dance in time with swaying waves.
Next to the pond's a willow tree,
whose branches serve as sunlit caves.
Like painted art the grasses mesh,
in little beds for birds to nest.
With colors rich and flowers fresh,
a home like that is surely blessed.

Great entry! I just saw two little things but I'm not sure if they're supposed to be like that so I'll just tell you in case. "and oranges blends," doesn't really sound right to me. So you could say " The ruby red and orange blends." But you don't have to. It won't stop you from getting a trophy because I'm really looking for the story you tell. The second is in the 3rd stanza you wrote "a window to the word beyond," instead of world beyond.
I wish you all the best of luck in my contest
