The pain gives me Life
Embedded in the ground
Stuck to the earth I cry
No one seems to answer my call
Only the pain gives me life
Broken
Only my blood gives me warmth
Eternity lasts forever
And I’ve been here forever
Crumpled parts of me keep me company
An arm or leg
Neither should be there
I’m dreaming but the pain gives me life
Hollow feelings
Sarah is that you
Silence is her reply
Open your eyes
A dim light grows brighter
I am dying
Am I dead
No the pain gives me life
Make it stop: go away
Hey is that you
Help me please I’ve been hurt
That’s better thank you
Silence fills the air
Alone again: still
But you’ve stopped the Pain
Lifeless I lay waiting for help
