jealousy
is
red
a burning flame inside my heart
red tongues licking at my cheeks
and a descision
they were there in the barn
I heard them
I saw them
my older sister
and that boy
I saw things
I wasn't supposed to
and I didn't understand
or maybe I did
so, I killed him
slew him with words
false accusations
told from innocent eyes
that hid dark secrets
and now she waits
for his return
and clutches the letters he sends her
from the battlefront

I don't know if you saw the rule before I made it, but could you please put an explaination to this poem in your author's notes? I'd rather not DQ you.

They say it's green but I agree with you that it is read. (red, Freudian slip there, I guess ) Strange to read this this morning as I was just thinking about wanting to run a contest on jealousy.
