Beyond

Riding on the turbulence of life
whilst basking in Your light,
I open my eyes and see
the reflection of You.
Aflutter, my soul longs
for the peace and safety You give.
Harboured within Your hands,
I kiss the earth and raise my hands.
Words are not enough to express
the longing I have.
Songs burst from my lips and I wait,
breathless, as you pick me up.
