No one can hold the magic man
who seems to just slip away
He tells you all you want to hear
then off he goes to stray
There is no one more romantic
or who knows just what to say
All the ladies fall in love with him
but he keeps them all at bay
He really is a hermit of kind
and retreats to his comfort shell
Eventually he peeks out his head
to see that all is quiet and well
The magic man is full of tricks
it's commitment he really fears
He's fun lovable kind and sweet
but if you get close he disappears
