moments

And oh, my darling
Nearly a thousand moments
Drifted away.

You once promised me
Eternity with you
Today was the end of forever.

And I can't stand this aching
Not another second of separation
Oh, when we're together
The time seems to slip by
Hurrying away from us
Everything was a blur from
Running.

My dear, I'm sitting here alone
On the window seat where I last saw you
Making your way up my driveway
Eternity was in your eyes
No doubt to be found
There was a smile.

Doing this again
Really should hurt more
Instead of feeling right
Freedom was never so sweet
To be here in your arms
Sure feels like freedom.

And yet
When this eternity is over
Another moment will have been gone
Yes, another moment with you.

and yet another moment drifts away.

This poem is moulded with steel and made up of porcelain. Very strong message from a tender heart. Yes these moments have crossed everybody and it is a very vivid picturization of these incidents make the poem marvellous. I would be happy, if you could spare some time to mark your impressions on my poems
