Thanks to a pep talk by my daughter,
In a bid to my solo life slaughter!
Encouraging me into joining a dating site,
My daughter spotted one looking just right!
You need a soul mate Mum she said,
Dad's not coming back she's got him instead!
Prompted and pushed I joined for love,
But got more than I bargained for from her shove,
For I didn't realise it was for BDSM dating,
And placed my profile and commenced waiting!
Some strange guys soon replied,
They wanted me all hog tied,
I cottoned on to the daft mistake,
And went to remove my profile for heaven's sake!
But there was one from Tomcat692,
Sitting waiting in my mailbox new!
He seemed more normal in his reply,
Prompting contact between him and I!
We exchanged emails and then agree'd to meet,
A handsom guy who I came to greet
A torrid love affair in kinky style,
Soon started after a while,
But then he admitted to being married,
Too late to detach my love strong carried,
Us now into our secret fifth year,
Of kinky fun and in dungeons with all the gear!
Dogging, and swinging yes to boot,
Sexy film making what a hoot,
But you can't help with whom you fall in love,
Married or not, soul mates come from above,
So deep the passion and true the love we share,
Behind his sterile marriage playing year after year,
I feel so guilty but can't resist this guy,
He makes me feel so alive and high,
Forbidden love for sure we share,
Even 'tied' up the passion is there!

Well, well, well.
You do have a secret to tell.
- Nice story build up and the rhyme was nice too.
- Now, I don't agree with such situations, but I got to hand it to you, that was some twisted love there. Just wow.
- Just add the poem that you rewrote for the contest. We need it to see if you used the same rhyme, form, flow, and/or overall format of the original poem. You got the concept of the contest, TWISTED LOVE. Just need the original poem.
I'll give you extra twisty points for meeting him online. It's not everyday you meet your love online. At least, I don't think it is. I'll also give you twisty points for the twist at the end, of him being married. WOW, FIVE YEARS? That deserves more twisty points for lasting so long. I'll give you twisty points for this, "Some strange guys soon replied,
They wanted me all hog tied," People have some weird sexual fantasies.
On a personal note, unrelated to the contest, I am sort of in the same situation. Minus him being married or having someone else. Also, minus the meeting on a dating site. Okay, maybe it's not really the same situation. But, what I am trying to say is that I met my love online too. WOOT for ONLINE LOVE!

I thought this was light-hearted and entertaining -shame he's married but feel a bit jealous of all the fun your having. The rhyme was smooth and you told a great story with a lot of humor. A fun poem that hides a dark secret.
