Of the bottom stead
Of my third hand, king size
Victorian style, wrought iron bed
...Is bent

I imagine [I fantasize]
That the curve is due
To one [or both!] of the two
Previous [female] owners having spent
Time bent...over said stead

The picture I have in mind
Of the activity I find
Most likely to have led
To the distortion of said bed
Is [of course] having sex from behind

So...
When I do take to my

Intending to rest my weary head
