Rain down let your glory fall,
your people cry out for your all.
Soak your love in our hearts,
it will quench the fiery darts.
Soak your wisdom in our minds,
to share your word to all mankind.
Soak your power within ourselves,
my children grasp this for yourselves.
Together we shall flood the nation, yes, the land,
to bring His blood covering and take a stand.
The time is now as we continue to look up,
Fill us to overflowing to be a runner-up.
Our arms are out in total surrender,
to be covered in all your splendor.
Rain down your grace that is sufficient,
you are above all, great and magnificient.
Pour out your mercy and peace,
for all to believe and bring ultimate release.
Glory, glory to your wonderous name,
from this day forth nothing shall be the same.
We shall sing, dance and praise,
while completely filled in latter rain.
Lightning flashes and thunder roars,
Speak to our hearts for we want more.
The floodgates open, pouring out the annointment,
faith will be the umbrella over all disappointment.
Stir in us all the elements within,
refreshing and cleansing all from sin.
Your glory will sink in our flesh as it begins to flow,
no one will escape the downpour all will come to know.

Another great poem from start to finish! I often go to the ocean to feel connected to God, so I can totally relate to this, likening the pouring rain with God's cleansing love. There's something so magnificent, cleansing and healing about the water, like God.
