She Must Know

I may never say these words to you
that would break your heart,
or nothing lewd or brash
that would tear you two apart,
but she must know this one dear
thing that we do surely see.
That you my love,
I've always loved...
that's why I set you free.

Meme.. this is my heart exposed.. how could you see the words inside so perfectly.
    I love this.. very much.
So simple, yet it tore right through my heart.

Leting someone that you love, go can be hard, I know and this poem expressed that feeling with a few words but those words hold depth and meaning. This is very good

Wow. This is an amazing write. It's hard to let people go who leave. No matter what way they leave us. This has truly touched my heart.

Yes that is true, but the only way to live your life in grandness is to let what is be. Let it go, and live! That is what I believe. So glad it was enjoyed by you.

Goodbyes, driven by love and coated with tears, truly capture the meaning of what it means to care so deeply for someone. This is well written, and brought back a few memories...

This is such a short, sweet, and sad poem. I loved the beginning. It really drew me in and made me want to read the rest. I've had this happen to myself before, so I can really relate. I also let him go, but in doing so, I found a new love and now am happier than ever before. Yes I still think about him sometimes and wonder what it could have been like. But I know he is happier with her and that me and my fiance, now are meant to be. So I guess sometimes things do happen for a reason. I hope since it's been two years things are better for you too. Also thank you for entering my contest
