You rot
On my tongue,
Melting into bursting taste buds,
Explosions of filth-
My mouth reels at your rancour.
But still, I consume you whole,
Like a flake, fizzing,
A communal wafer;
I take your body into mine.
I destroy you.
You are assimilated
Into my blood stream, an evil,
Parasitic swarm, skulking down
Streaming vessels,
In malicious rampage.
You cannot believe
I have tricked you.
My cells react to your wretched onslaught,
They know you well,
My antibodies wage war,
You are devoured
By uncaring lymphocytes.
You are eaten.
You are blasted.
You are deleted.
You are dead.
And I cannot believe it took me six
Bloodshed years to realise,
That to destroy you utterly
I first needed to accept you,
As part of myself.
A bad part, like an extra, bloated limb,
An eyeball in the middle of my head,
Or a tumour, a canker, a festering
Oozing sore,
In my chest where pain
Used to be simple.
Author notes
I cried when I wrote this.
Because I wish I could do it.

I think that you have done a great job expressing yourself. I also think that everytime you write something emotional like this that comes from deep inside you get freer from the past and closer to the state that you are looking for.
