She paints her eyes like an exiled Egyptian,
In smudges of kohl and splashes of midnight.
Her mind a song
Of
Energy and fire.
Ra, Sekhmet
A scream and a wail for the world.
She walks the streets with the air of a queen
At one with the moon and the sky; her face and adornments.
Feet vessels through which
The
Ancients sing.
Shu, Chons
A dance for the sky, a dance to save the world.
She laughs like a chorus of sunrises,
With lips as smudges of flame in a white sky.
Her voice a message
Of
Ancients and gods.
Oetesh, Maat
She knows the past, she knows our future.
In smudges of kohl and splashes of midnight.
Her mind a song
Of
Energy and fire.
Ra, Sekhmet
A scream and a wail for the world.
She walks the streets with the air of a queen
At one with the moon and the sky; her face and adornments.
Feet vessels through which
The
Ancients sing.
Shu, Chons
A dance for the sky, a dance to save the world.
She laughs like a chorus of sunrises,
With lips as smudges of flame in a white sky.
Her voice a message
Of
Ancients and gods.
Oetesh, Maat
She knows the past, she knows our future.
Author notes
This one was written on inspiration of a random girl I saw walking down the street, very beautiful, and eccentric of dress and makeup. Anyways. To understand this one fully I have to explain the egyptian gods that I put into this one, so here they are, in order of usage:
Ra-sun god
Sekhmet-fire goddess
Shu-air god
Chons-moon god
Oetesh-love and beauty goddess
Maat-truth and justice goddess
